The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is the perfect place for explorers of any age, as it is home to a fantastic range of world-class scenery, geology, wildlife and archaeology.

Many of the Pembrokeshire Coast’s brilliant beaches offer an opportunity to discover the huge variety of creatures and seaweeds that live in the tidal rockpools.

There are also many opportunities to discover the varied wildlife found around the National Park, whether it be the seals or seabirds that live on the cliffs or nearby islands, or the rare plants and lichens that flourish in our wonderful woodlands, heath and marsh areas.

The Pembrokeshire Coast also boasts many breath-taking viewpoints, some of which are easy to access so that everyone can enjoy the spectacular sights, sounds and smells the diverse landscape offers.

The National Park is also home to a huge variety of geology, displaying a greater variety of rocks and scenery than any equivalent area in Britain. The landscape is ancient, with the oldest rocks dating back 600 million years!

For those with an interest in the area’s rich culture and history, there are countless prehistoric tombs, Celtic crosses, Iron Age Hill Forts, Norman castles and much more scattered across the length and breadth of the National Park.

So whatever your interest, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is full of fun things to do and new places to discover.
