Car Parks

Car parks in Pembrokeshire are generally provided by Pembrokeshire County Council, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park Authority, the National Trust and a small number of community bodies and private individuals.

Outside the towns most car parks are free – for example of the 46 car parks managed by the National Park Authority there are only 10 where there are charges.

  • Saundersfoot Regency
  • Manorbier
  • Freshwater East
  • Little Haven
  • Broad Haven
  • Newgale (Pebbles)
  • Solva
  • Oriel y Parc, St Davids
  • Newport Sands
  • Poppit

Where there are charges the income is generally used to support community or visitor facilities – for example the Pembrokeshire Greenways coastal buses are significantly supported by County Council and National Park funding.

Many of the coastal car parks give access onto the Pembrokeshire Coast Path or on to one of the county’s fine beaches. Some are good viewpoints in themselves, others provide a good view within a short distance.
